FoI in Australia: Overhaul of FoI Laws
Sweeping new changes have been announced to Australia's freedom of information laws. Applications for information under the act will now be free of charge and a new independent office of information commissioner will be set up to help process them.Govt overhauls freedom of information laws (Lateline, 24 March 2009)
