Congratulations to the Daily Telegraph for a job well done

MPs including Gordon Brown and David Cameron have proclaimed their unhappiness at the “blackout” censorship of parliamentary expenses documents published this week.

But the sequence of events that led to the controversial publication of “redacted” claims on Thursday makes clear that it was senior MPs including frontbench colleagues of the Prime Minister and the Tory leader who were responsible.

This website wholeheartedly supports the Daily Telegraph and how it has handled the MPs' expenses issue. It has performed a valuable public service.
