Rail link good for Edinburgh but bad for Glasgow

According to a government report obtained by the SNP through a Freedom of Information request, which the SNP claims was suppressed, consultants hired by the Scottish Executive have calculated that the "Rolls-Royce" railway proposed for Edinburgh would substantially restrict the growth of the west-coast hub, even if it secures its own track.
