New Abu Ghraib photos released under US FOI Act

An Australian television station has broadcast previously unpublished images of the abuse of Iraqi prisoners at Abu Ghraib prison, fuelling more Arab anger against the United States.

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) has been allowed access to the images under U.S. Freedom of Information provisions, but the U.S. government is appealing the decision.
