Police fail to breathalise all drivers after accidents

Figures obtained under the Freedom of Information Act have revealed that police officers are failing to breathalise all drivers after accidents. In spite of the festive drink-driving message of campaigns such as "Don't Risk It", police forces are only breathalising around 60% of all people involved in collisions which they deal with. In Strathclyde the figure is closer to 50%.
